Can I get away with eating a big 1000 calorie dinner and still lose weight if my other two meals before hand were like 500 each? That would leave me in the 2000 calorie zone, so I would still lose weight, right.

wew lad. You can have more than 2k to lose weight. I'd set a limit at 2500. And get protein/meal replacement shakes for breakfast. then an apple/banana/orange/whatever between breakfast and lunch. Decent 700-800 lunch. Snack on some sakatas/rice cakes/pork crackles/nuts/fruit until dinner. Then a 800cal dinner as well. This will satisfy you. If you are cooking at home, get some scales and do it properly. You can't eye off calories properly at your fat level.

And dont drink anything but water(and your protein brekky). It is empty calories and drinking other shit means you have to eat less.

Also, eat a ton of chicken. It is great meat that isn't overly expensive and there is so much variety in the taste that you can eat it twice a day and not get bored(I do this). Have a fuckton of veggies with your meals. You can get prepackaged, 2 serve mixed veggies from your supermarket. Add 2 of those to any meal and it is only something like 100calories. But it is 4 serves of veggies and will temporarily fill you up, enough to get you into bed without feeling hungry again.

Throw out your junk food. Sitting in the kitchen is horrible for cravings.

I am on the same journey as you, although my road isn't quite as large, but I've started the hike. JUST DO IT.

However why are you cutting at that weight/height ? Competing ? long distance runner? Or just want abs above all else?

Because honestly seen some 170-173 manlets on here that are 80-84 kgs natty and lowish bf (13-14% abs obviously visible), mind you they have been lifiting for 4-5 years.

I'll look them up, just lazy, thanks. Been lifting for about 4 years now, only last two years were seriously and dedicated however. Got a decent amount of muscle, enough for people to be impressed/notice, but the two lower abs are still being tricky and not showing without expectional perfect lightning. I'm mostly in it for the looks even though my gf says she's content and would like for me to stop lifting.
