Does anyone else have vivid dreams which are usually depressive or portray you being persecuted in some way? Is there some underlying cause for this?

I dont think ive had a vivid dream where i was happy or had something good happen to me. I hate it cause sometimes i wake up tired with my head pounding after a "quick nap" than i was before. I never asked for this, i just want off Mr.Vivid's wild ride

Should probably start meditating anon and try to focus on fixing those underlying issues youve repressed.

Anytime I have vivid dreams its always fairly normal and calm.
That or start trying to lucid dream and control what you're seeing

i can relate to this too

this one time i had a dream that my sister got into an accident and woke up in cold sweat. I realized that it was a dream and carried on with my day. Four hours later i was feeling guilty as fuck that i didnt even care about my blood so i had to call and make sure that she was still alive to clear my conscience.
