It's a typo. It means grams because the calories wouldn't add up. One gram of either carbs or protein has four calories while one gram of fat has nine calories. That package has no carbs, one gram of fat, and 18 grams of protein equalling 81 total calories. They could have rounded down the total calories. Basically I just proved that the label is mis printed. Good day.

If it's 18g protein, then that's 72kcal right there. Add 1g fat, that's 81kcal. Rounding rules mean the label is close enough to be legit.
