muscle confusion is a crucial part of my workout regiment, For example, i start doing warm up reps for my bench to make my body think im gona bench then as soon as i finish my last rep i immedialely set the bar to its appropriate position,slap on 2pl8s and start squatting. when i started squatting i had a 100kgx1 rep max with a belt and horribly rounded back after like 2 months of training.

Squatting 3 times a week with 2.5kg increments, I went from 60x20 to 77.5x20 , then continued like 80x18 (80 x 6 was my PR before)
I ended up getting 100x7 in about 2 months.
A few months later I tried 20 rep squats again, went from 65x20 to 90x20.
The only mistake I had the first time was using a belt in every 20 rep squat set. My core was horribly weak, only start using a belt when your back starts rounding during the last few reps.
