Does dip/pouches negatively effect your run time? And if so, to what extent? as much as smoking?

You'll get dehydrated from it, between the spitting and it's a diuretic, but other than that it would be fine. I wouldn't put in a fat lip before I started running but that's me. I won't dip before I run that day
I dont think so. I ran in hs and put a fatty on the bus to the races and when ever I had a chance. I had a 4:48 mile 2:06 800m and a 51 400m .
