>go to new gym today
>see a 5'4 kid probably 130lbs
>literally deadlifts lmao2plates
>no warmup
whatthefuck
Do teenagers have a lot of natty testosterone production or is that kid Mark Rippletits?
>he didn't start lifting during his teenage years
Literally the best gains of your life. Too bad you'll never experience it OP.
>>35553119
Tell him to warm-up please.
If he's 5'4 that obviously he.la him deadlift more due to a decreased range of motion, especially if he has long arms.
2pl8 isn't impressive though. Neither is 3pl8. Come back to me when he deadlifts 4pl8 for a set of 5.
>>35553119
>DYEL?
I started taking lifting seriously as an 18 year old. Was that prime time to start or was I too late? I'm 19 now
>>35553175
>three pl8
>not impressive
Roid monkey pls
>>35553119
first time i dl'd i could his 2 plate by 7 i was a teen
>>35553241
I started at 23, and still made it natty. As long as you're under 30, it's fine.
>>35553257
>being this dyel
pic related
>>35553264
made it pics? 23 as well, started October of 2015 skinnyfat mode
>>35553257
Wait, I deadlift just over three plate. Your telling me that's impressive ?
Neat.
>>35553278
How much do you weigh?
>>35553119
>caring about people's lifts, especially a manlet
The 1st time I tried to deadlift I lifted 2 plates. OP confirmed for weaksauce
>>35553308
>only two plates
And that's supposed to be impressive? Nigga please, the first time I stepped up to the platform I deadlifted four pl8. And I never even touched a weight in my life.
>>35553308
I started deadlifting 2pl8 too. It's fucking hilarious how that tiny weight impresses normies
>>35553119
Everybody's different. My muscle genetics are trash.
When I started lifting at 15 I could not lift shit.
Now that im 20 I am actually starting to see some progress but its still minimal. I guess I have really high estrogen or something because I'm a fat weak manlet with wide hips.
>>35553362
What's your routine?
>>35553119
>he didn't start lifting at 15
lol what a fool.
>>35553257
>three pl8
>impressive
now i know you're weak
>>35553274
I don't have a current pic at the moment, but this is from my cut last summer. Now I've put on 15 lbs since this pic and still around 12% bf.
Maybe it's not "made it" by /fit/ standards, but in real life everyone mires hard.
>>35553362
Same situation family. I started lifting at 17 and I couldn't gain barely any muscle. I could bench 2pl8 in a year but I looked like fucking trash. When I turned 21 I threw away my natty card.
>tfw gained 20lbs on first cycle
>>35553391
Yeah u look good brah, I'd be happy with that bod.
Did you start skinny or overweight? Mind posting routine? I'm currently just doing stuff at home on a bro split but gonna get a membership soon and do a real program.
>>35553404
>I could bench 2pl8 in a year but I looked like fucking trash
Let me guess, you fell for the starting strength meme?
>>35553391
How about you show a pic unflexed bud
>>35553428
lolwut, want him to put a shirt on as well?
>>35553452
Anyone can look good with decent camera angles and a flex. Besides, if he really does look good, then why should it matter if he's unflexed?
>>35553412
I started a little bit overweight. I was never really fat or anything, but 5'11 190ish at my heaviest. I cut while doing ICF 5x5 on 2k cals a day until I got to ~155 lbs. Then I ate a ~200 cal surplus for a long time putting on some decent mass. I did Texas Method for a while, but my upper body stalled hard on it, so I switched to a 5/3/1 variation with a 5th day each week for extra bench volume. Now I'm still doing that and seeing good results. If you want to do 5/3/1 later, definitely look into joker sets and first set last. I think they help a ton.
>>35553325
Either e-stating or a naturally big guy.
Hardly anyone whom is untrained can dl 405lbs their very first time
>>35553601
Naturally a big guy.
When I first started lifting at the age of 15, I was 8'9(tfw a manlet :/), 400 lb, 5% bf and was able to dl 405lb for only 17 reps
>>35553510

3pl8 is average when talking about real strength, but it is impressive to normalfags.
>>35553638
100% the other guy still believes you lol
>>35553257
3 pl8 is when your deadlift is at like, low intermediate level. Most people can work up to 2pl8 within a couple months of deadlifting.
>>35553325
>four pl8
Bitch please. First time I ever lifted I pulled 12pl8 for reps.
>tfw first warmup set is 2.5 plate
