I work nights so I go after work for cardio. Then do my heavy lifting at the private gym near my house. I never have an excuse to miss a day.

Depends on your gym. The one I go to has all of the equipment. squats, benches dumbells, etc. I know there are stories of some gyms though where they have taken away some equipment because people got too intimidated by them which is horseshit and defeats the purpose of a gym.
