I don't think an oly bar is such a good idea for a home gym.
Sure it will hold up to ~250 kg but where I live it cost 110 €. A nice 28mm * 2m bar cost 40 € and you can use the iron (which is expensive as hell btw) for dumbbells. They hold up to 170 kg, which is plenty enough unless you insist on doing super duper heavy diddys.
Also stay away from those dumbbells / barbells with screw-on ends. They're tedious and don't hold the weight in place once you swing the bar.

if you dont have space for a power rack why do you want to build a home gym?

Not with that attitude bitch, believe and you can achieve!
The fuck do you need bar for? Please tell me you aren't actually planning to deadlift/squat at home

B R E H
Get a bar and bumper plates. Clean + Press, Clean + Front Squat, Snatch + Overhead Squat.
GET STRONG.
GET BIG.
DO IT.

yes, i'm not a fatty, i've lifted for 5 years and now it's time to build my gym, also i make horrible hours at work and don't have time to drive to the gym

depends on your floor but you'll pretty much just need a rack of some kind (for squats/bench) , a mat, bar+weights, and a bench. That's pretty much all core lifts covered, pull up bar and dip bars are great as well (can pick up a cheap dip/pull up bar on craigslist), an EZ bar for traps/curls, bands and foam roller/pvc for mobility work, microplates for OHP, and dumb bells are other things you can add in.

There's a section in Starting Strength on how to build your own home gym.
