What was the fastest mile /fit/ ever ran?
6:09

Be honest, this is a safe space
i dont time myself for miles but the fastest 5k i did was something terrible like 23mins
>mfw i squatted 5 pl8s but could only run a mile in 20 minutes
5:34 timed about 2 years ago. Starting lifting primarily and left running behind.
5:04
>I did track in high school.
0:57 400m
2:19 800m
5:52 mile
13:55 2 mile
20:48 5k
At my peak I could run 8 miles of trails in an hour and feel refreshed afterwards.

I did a 6 minute flat one once.
Once. Now l don't run much
Eurofag here, so I never ran an actual mile. Guess about 5:20.
My 5k was right around 18:30.
Did track and XC. Not sure about my mile time but the following are my PRs:
1500m - 4:32 (so a mile would probably be ~4:45
3000m - 9:50
5k - 17:57

I was never fast, just had good endurance btw. I don't run anymore at the moment, but maybe I'll start again.
In high school I once ran a 6 minute mile on a bet with my teacher. He said he would give me an A in the class of I could could beat anybody on the track team.
After that he let me walk with my fat friends for the rest of the year whenever I wanted.
I did surprise him later that year in a football game by out running a black guy who was looked like he was in his 20s and preventing a touchdown. Our team won the game and everyone treated me like I was a hero.

>We were ahead 24 to 20
>Our throw, interception, he takes off.
>Team doesn't chase
>I follow
>Other games stop to watch us
>We are at the 80 yard line
>I jump and take the flag.
>slide like 10 feet.
>Litterally everybody in class is cheering.
>Defense holds out and prevents touchdown Despite my size I manage to held off two people buly myself.
>class ends, we win.
>Entire team carries me to the locker room.
>Littataly the second best day of high school.
Literally never ran a mile in my life

Sounds awesome! What's the best day?

so you could have been an elite athlete and you didn't go 4 it?
7:39
It was hard as fuck and I was 16 at the time. Jesus I hated the mile. But that's a really brisk jogging pace.
Did one season of training with my high school's XC team and got down to a 5:31.
Right now I'd probably put down a 6:30

>6 minute mile
>elite athlete
choose one
A guy in my middle school ran a 4:38 mile and didn't even make it onto a college track team by the end of high school
0:55 400m
cant remember 800m
2:46 1000m
6:06 2000m
16:22 5000m
t. ex triathlete
>>35495101
6:13
That was a while ago, though, and part of a 2 mile test. My second mile was like 8 minutes, so my overall time wasn't that good.

6 minutes is hard to get to, but I feel in my youth I could've attained it and my genetics aren't blessed to be elite.
4:02 mile. Former D1
11.60 100m
22.97 200m
51.37 400m
First season sprinting competitively, aiming for nationals for the 400.
4:49 needless to say. I'm a beast
>>35495244
I'd bet that 5:20 is better than most of the planet can do. I never got past the 6 min mark, and neither did most of the people I was in school with.
>>35496614
Is your name tyler by any chance?
>>35496178
BS, I know college runners who run 4:30 and they're D2. You're telling me he couldn't shave 8 seconds off his time in 4 years of high school?
>>35495101
5:35 at age 13
6:10 right now
Who /high jump/ here?
>>35495101
4:50 Back in high school. Can hardly run 7:30 now
>>35495112
You can walk a mile in 20 minutes lmao
>>35498149
