Ido Portal is great.
You should also check out Conor McGregor and Vahva Fitness, they pretty much preach the same stuff about "movement"

huh, we were friends in kindergarten, cool.

I can imagine him doing the lizard crawls back then

goat
He has some pretty good points and ideas but his "movement" as a whole is a bit cultish I think
>>35369539
can you please share a anecdote or two?
>>35368525
He has the right idea. All you "specialists" are behind. People on his level will look at what he does and take from it. People not on his level will hate on him or follow him like a cult.

Looks great.
First ten seconds I can tell you he knows fuck all. Movement as the reason we developed our brains? That's fucking straight up retarded; abstract reasoning, puzzle solving etc. That's why the brain developed - and we're clearly not the best movers on the planet, we're actually pretty shit compared to most animals, we're just a shit-ton smarter.
Language, if anything, is the nuclear bomb of our genetic development. That's what let us share information in such a way that you don't have to re-learn everything someone else already figured out in order to progress.
So yeah, looks good but he's pants-on-head retarded.

WTF dude ur lying dude fuck you you haifa kike bitch
I think we are the best movers. Sure we aren't as strong or fast as other animals but we can climb, swing, run, jump, and crawl just like any other animal and we have the ability to study animals and mimic their movements. But can any animal do ballet or breakdance?

I think Ido is just too philosophical in his approach. He thinks hes doing something different but he's not. He just conveniently put things together so people can just follow, which isn't a bad thing but he has an elitist attitude. Really he's just combining capoeira, gymnastics, kung fu, and some dance...Which is a great approach. He even was really in to weight lifting 10 years ago. The basic idea is to take ideas from all types of movements, which Bruce Lee spoke of back in the 70's.
