You have to jump through a lot of hoops to get diagnosed with hormones for HRT. In the UK, it's basically spending a year cross-dressing with all the shit associated with it.
If you've got a physiological medical condition which warrants hormone prescription, you just get tested and given it.
It's not 100% inaccurate, just badly laid out and implies that the issue is being told that it causes cancer.
