Just Googled and it says 'binge' drinking (more than 3 drinks in one sitting wat) can spike your blood pressure temporarily is this true?
If you're the type of person that checks their blood pressure while drinking alcohol, or any other time but at that pharmacy or doctor, you are probably also the type of person to psyche themselves out and inadvertently raise their pressure and skew the result.
I test around 155/80 every damn time I go to the doc. It's nerves. When I test at home I'm closer to 120/ 75.

I work in a nursing home and old ladys with BPs of 160/80 aren't high enough to report to a nurse. Anything over 190/80 is required to be reported
