oly lifting plus 5x10+ dips and 5x10+ chins (adding weight once you can do 5x20s) will make you pretty solid in the pecs, biceps, and lats.

you could certainly add weight early on but then you need to bother with a harness, etc. this is just supposed to be something to add bicep and pec volume as a finisher at the end of a workout.
you also would want to have lower volume on dips if your press isn't close to 85% bodyweight because I'd hate for the tendons attaching the triceps to explode from overwork

The community part of crossfit is the only real appeal. You get to mix with and work out around top tier qt's who love to lift, eat paleo / zone, and look excellent in workout gear. They usually have big traps too as a bonus.

most top oly lifters roid and also actually do high rep BBing work, because they believe it keeps the joints healthy and whatnot.
Chinese lifters especially do this. lots of dips and presses (and handstand pushups) and stuff like that for high reps. it's not as if all they do is the oly lifts for singles. although, a lot of oly lifters only ever really do low reps for legs (sets of 5 max), yet have huge quads. why? it's because they do so much God damn volume. you can get big legs doing triples and doubles if you do 10 God damn sets of them.
Oly lifters have GOAT aesthetics. Klokov, that Chinese dude, they have the best aesthetics out of them, powerlifters, & bbers..
Doing oly lifts youre destined to look like a fat manlet. And your arms will never be bigger than 14 inches relaxed.

yes, I totally agree. big frame, good genetics are part of it. the steroid usage and lots of pressing/overhead work, and all the stuff that involves the core for stability all lead to the great aesthetics of many Olympic lifters (big delts, good upper chest that squares out the lower chest, strong Greek sculpture core, and of course nice big quads).
