Been lifting on a deficit for about 3 months now.
Always had shit diet, like I'd have pizza like once a week and I'd barely cook, but for the last 2 weeks I haven't even gone gym and just done dumbbel workouts at home because of my coursework... I can't wait until I get this shit done.

I've only ate dominos for the last 2 weeks too, so I've probably gained a bit of fat instead of losing.

full body crunches, oblique crunch and hanging leg raises are what i do for abs. There's also a bunch of compound lifts in my routine but those are the specific ones for abs.

i don't max out and my upper body sucks

i bench every other day, 135x10 pyramid to 185x3, then do as many 3s as possible with proper form.

i diddy every other day, 1pl8x10 pyramid to 3pl8x5 by .5s, lots of volume, max is probably around 375-400 since I could do 3pl8 over 4 months ago.

i squat 2x a week (it impacts my cycling), same kind of thing, 1pl8x10 pyramid to 3pl8x5 by .5s, i never tried anything heavier.

i'm still cutting until mid-january (i want a 8-9% DXA result) and then i'll start bulking for 2016.

I started working out this year in February.
The first 6 months was me getting into a weekly schedule and learning how to do proper form.

I've gained 13 pounds since I started and maintained the same amount of fat. almost 9 of those pounds were gained within the last 4,5 months.

sadly, it's almost unnoticeable since I'm 6'3, but I can't expect much since I had completely neglected my body for the past 23 years.

But I guess it's a start. Now I just have to keep it up for the next 2-3 years and I might look like an average build person.

Down 60 lbs in 5 months and hopefully only have to lose 10 more. Currently using this month to eat around maintenance and give my body a break from the low calorie deficit that ive been doing. Can't give you a proper estimate, since I'm just another /fit/ autist. I recommend you try it out and see how you respond to the higher levels of BF. To be in slight calorie surplus will give your body more to work with to build muscle. This is why people bulk. Your BF tend to be pretty low so I presume your body will perform better at this level than before and the steady bulk will give your body the surplus it needs to make lean muscle grow. Keep it up a bit more, and see how your body responds.

You're around 9%, maybe even 8. You're as low as you need to be, you could get lower but it would be unnecessary. Whenever you gain 5 pounds of fat, you should cut back down to where you are now.
If you bulk at 2-3 lbs per month, 0.5-1.5 of it, depending on factors,will be fat. Bulk at 2 lbs per week for a while to test the water, go up to 3 if you're not gaining much fat. Use your visual estimate and waist measurement to decide if you gained fat.
