First of, you notice your hairline is receding fucking get on finasterid + roagine right now. Try it out and don't read up on the internet "propoganda"; if you notice and major sides, well just stop using it.
It is a MAJOR confidence thing, within limits. As people have already shown here with bald george clooney etc. If you're that fare you just have to go full bald and hope for the best.

One of the things I was known for back then was having amazing hair. I was able to hide the hair loss all the way through senior year, but by then it was a little M&M shell of its once glorious lion's mane. By then, I was pretty fucking jacked for my age, so one day after feeling sorry for myself, I just shaved my head entirely. It didn't matter. I think he means more known with in the family. You look around at multi-generations of men and you can pretty much figure out where you are going to end up hair wise.
like in my case I both my grandfathers were ok hair wise at 80+ so I figured there was no chance I was going to start balding at say 25 like some do.. now I'm 40+, look 30 and while I've thinned out hair wise I had so damn much to start with I seem like I've never lost any compared to average men. Finasteride could do wonders for you, or it could destroy your life. Transplant hair is permanent hair. It comes from the back of your head, where hair is not genetically programmed to fall out. They put you on fin to stabilize the rest of your hair so you don't end up with a patch of transplant while everything else falls out. If you have hair like Jude Law, where everything is solid except that tuft in the front, you could easily fill that in with a transplant and never touch fin (which you shouldn't anyway, for any reason, ever).
