Just watch some bail video's on youtube if you're scared to use it and practice bailing with light weights (and please use fucking bumper plates).
I prefer the rack in OP instead of those 'squat racks' with fixed safeties. I couldn't even hit depth on those because of manletism.

Mine has pic related safeties. Alas they are of no use to me since the rack is too close to the wall and I have to walk further out to find a spot on the floor to focus my eyes on.
They are ok if you do highbar. With heavy lowbar squats you may have some problem.
