Is there a general guideline when to switch programs after your first linear progression?

How strong should I be before going for more of a bodybulding style of training?
Doing SS with accessories for almost 4 months now. Making good gains but I'm beginning to stall out and deloading won't help anymore. Eating around 3700 kcal per day and sleep around 8 hours every night aswell.

My stats:
Bodyweight: 83Kg
Squat 5x115kg
Deadlift 5x130Kg
Bench 5x82.5Kg
OHP 5x52.5kg

Anyways. You are probably just doing everything wrong, and lying to yourself constantly, always staying at the same weights, never trying to progress.
Never deloading for a period etc.

If you are doing everything right and never getting bigger, go get tested for low test.

I used to go pretty hard. I would increase weights until I failed. A few times I would squat to failure (not on purpose, I thought I could do it). I think I couldn't finish the fifth rep on something like 255lbs.

Once you fail in the middle of a rep there's no "lying to yourself". That's where your body just doesn't have the strength to finish that lift.

I deloaded, I took time off lifting, even sometimes my lifts improved. But when I looked back over a period of a year my improvements were meager.

I really tried to push the weights up for at least two years before trying routines that had more volume/isolations.
