I did SS with accessories for the first three months and saw pretty good results despite not eating enough. Now I'm on a 6-day split focused around major compound movements. My advice is to bulk and train hard, eating isn't easy but it's essential to get results. Hope this helps.

2 year bulk off and on in the sense that sometimes I was maintaining sometimes bulking. Routine is usually something like chest/legs, back, shoulders + arm work if I feel like it, ABCxABCx kinda thing. Usually low rep heavy compounds at the start of the workout, high rep isolation work at the end. Compounds are high volume though, 8x3 followed by 3x8 of each compound at the start of their respective day. Ex: last shoulder day I put up 8x3 @ 185 followed by 3x8 @ 145 for my OHP, then did 5x20 side raises, 5xF dips @ bw, and 4x10 seated DB press

Hey /fit/. Is this good progress for 7 months? Keep in mind I began from auschwitz mode and did starting strength all this time. Just feels like I got fat and my legs got bigger so far. Is this normal?

Been trying hard recently to generally get fitter, cycling more running more less gym time. Feel much healthier how.

Yeah I'm going to move to ppl now. My bench press was way below intermediate strength while my other lifts kept progressing, that's why I continued. But it's still stalling so I guess I'm just weak.

I've not really got a set routine anymore, I do pull/push/legs/pull/push/legs/arm+shoulders.

Start each day with a compound and follow it up with a accessories.

Most known routines will work as long as you're good about your dieting, which has always been the hardest part for me.
