Decided I wanted to get /fit/. So about a year ago I put together a plan. Step 1 was bulking.
I am 5'9" weighed 180 pounds at the beginning of my bulk, it took nine months and a TON of work, but by the end of my bulk I was up to 245 pounds. One of the hardest things I've ever done.
So step 2 is the easy part, getting /fit/. Gonna start tomorrow.

I do have a question for you however. Is there anyway to get /fit/ without actually lifting weights? I have a bad forearm and I don't want to make it worse.

i am 5'9 185, have never lifted, and am at least 18% bodyfat.

how fucking fat were you when you bulked?

5'9 180 is the natty fucking limit at 10% bodyfat

Got the impression from browsing here the last couple years and yahoo answers that the first step to getting fit is putting on 30+ pounds in the least.

Like I said, I want to get /fit/ buff without lifting weight, as i don't want to hurt myself. Any suggestions? Bulking was hard as hell, 65 pounds is alot to put on in a year.

Bulking is easy, ever going above 15-20% BF is a huge huge mistake. Enjoy your stretch marks and loose skin.

Yes. You need to eat even more. Your body will go into excess mode because it's realized that you have unlimited calories. It will start to build muscle and burn fat until you look /fit/ as fuck.
