What's your resting heart rate, /fit/? Mine's around 80 bpm.
I found out that squats wasn't enough to bring mine down so I've started doing cardio on rest days.

I was hospitalized once when it went down to 30 for 3 days. The doctor told me it would be normal if I was a triathelete. Why is it so low, /fit/? I have no heart issues. None.

Gym 5 days a week, 15 minutes of HIIT each week. Diet is paleo.
58 apparently, but I'm not really resting at the moment
Is it the lower the better or should you aim at some number?

Used to be low 50s at the beginning of the year. But I haven't had good cardio training for a while now.

honestly, if youre in the gym that often and are eating a paleo diet and have no other symptoms, 45 bpm resting heart rate sounds fine. It just means youre fit. If youre getting dizzy if you stand up, have chest pains or get breathless quite often, then thats worrying.
51
56 bpm
I've been adding more cardio lately. I'm interested in seeing if it will go any lower.
