Why do all lifters talk about "PRs" and shit like if it was such a great achievement in lifting. Lifting is not difficult at all. All you have to do is continue lifting and eating right to PR. Sure you'll reach a point one day where you just can't lift more weight but that's the human limit. (Ex. 1000lbs) Even if you do reach that point what use is being able to say bench that much.

Running a mile even if its just 10sec faster than last time is a true PR. Because it can take a months worth of training just for a 5sec increase. Or finishing a triathlon at a faster time. Getting a faster lap time on the track in a time attack even. Actions that actually require true skill!

Nice trips! How's your first season of xc going?
>>
well, i guess i could give you a 3/10, based on the fact that /fit/ will probably get roped in by this. but /fit/ ain't what it used to be.

i'll give you a 1.5/10. that's the best i can do, that's all you deserve.

Truly m'lord i have trained for years to get a .00964 second decrease in my katana drawing speed. Let some dumb meat head turd challenge me, his head shall leave his shoulders before his brain can tell his arm to punch.

>all lifters

Bodybuilders don't give a fuck about your lifting stats.

Yeah I agree anyone can increase size and lifts easily but not everyone will be able to run a sub 5:30 mile for instance.

Bodybuilders don't lift heavy?

only to pack on more mass, brah.

ego lifting is for people who like to eat themselves to bigger lifts (aka fatfucks, aka powerlifters)

1rm is only useful for establishing a good weight to do 6-8 reps with
