I can't speak for everyone else on here, but I'm improving my life situation daily. I'm working hard at my career, I own my own house (something I recently had an option to give up but chose not to), I'm learning a third language (with a view to getting fluent in 5 before I pop my clogs), I'm working out, eating cleaner and generally enjoying my life. I am a far superior person to who I was a year ago and I do it for myself.
I just think it's fucked that women can cruise by in the dating scene with no effort. Looking good as a woman is slapping on makeup and not being a UK size 16+ and maybe 10% genetics. Looking good as a man is either 100% facial aesthetics or pumping iron for months to years. Good personality for a woman is "not a bitch". Good personality for a guy is "interesting with well developed hobbies".
