To measure:
>Grab tape measure/cloth ruler
>Find a doorway
>Stand so that one shoulder is pressing against the edge of the molding
>Rotate your body and the door so that the edge of the door is touching one of its edges
>Carefully move out of the way without moving the door, measure the gap
Essentially, you're using the door as a pair of calipers. What's your shoulder width?
