good advice i'll go hunt one down. 1 last question since your answering me, is it dangerous/bad in any way to run after dark? for the life of me i can't get up early enough to go for a run in the morning and i'm not sure if i'll get hit by a car or whatever if i do it when its dark. i live in a fairly nice neighborhood and i carry so its not like i'm getting assraped, i'm just wondering if i have to wear any special shiny shit to ensure not dying.

Not him but if you're on the street, yes, on the sidewalk, no. If you run too late you may have trouble sleeping.

Don't drink or eat much if anything before running or you'll have terrible cramps, this is why I run in the morning before having breakfast. If you get a cramp you just have to run through it. Otherwise, don't hunch your shoulders or clench your fists when running, doing so will give you painful back cramps.

Now seriously, if you get cramps in your back by clenching your fists, there is something wrong with you and you need to figure out what it is. I was a sprinter and I always kept my fists clenched and arms tense, no cramps.

If I eat too much I also don't get cramps, just a bit queasy.

So, basically, you shouldn't give generic advice based on your shitty genetics and/or health issues.
