How do I stop smelling bad?
>inb4 shower
I shower every day, but my fucking clothes stink. After I wash them it takes clothes a few hours to fucking stink again.
Fucking tired of this shit /fit/, it's preventing me from making it.
Also, stuck at 3plate squat for about 2 months, wat do?
>>
I stink too anon - the only thing that helps me is avoiding alliums in my diet (that's onions and garlic, you stinker)
>>
>>34947561
I don't even eat onions and garlic.
It's my fucking clothes that smell. What the fuck.
>>
>>34947577
You're not washing them properly. Try spraying white vinegar + water mix on your clothes (armpit/crotch/smelly areas etc) before you wash them (or just add white vinegar to the water while washing)...
>>
>>34947535
Also, do you drink much ? Your sweat will stink the next day after drinking..so stop it.
>>
Pajeet, my son.
>>
>>34947615
>>34947629
My clothes don't smell of sweat.
They smell like mold, or some other shit (There's no mold in my house)
And... I'm currently drinking vodka because depression strikes again.
>>34947644
Not even Pajeet, Euro as fuck.
>>
>>34947561
>giving up delicious onions and garlic

Get higher quality soap? Also check the pipes and whatnot leading to your washing machine. Could be they have a buildup of gunk and or grime causing the delayed stink. God speed anon.
>>
>>34947649
I know the smell OP, and vinegar will work (but only if you stop drinking).

And drinking vodka to help depression is like hitting yourself in the head to cure a head-ache. At least use a decent drug to help with depression or go and St Johns Wart or some other shit that will actually help.
>>
Also, how do I start smelling good?
You know those people who just smell so god damn good that you just want to stand next to them for hours...
>>
>>34947717
Eat better. Don't drink.
>>
>>34947649
When you wash the clothes take them out of the machine immediately, if left even for a bit they develop a strong musty smell that fits what you're describing
>>
>>34947717
Are you thinking about a gender change, OP?
>>
>>34947535
If washing your clothes does not eliminate the odour, you probably need to kill them with fire.

Get new clothes. And take better care of your new clothes.

Wear antiperspirant.

Wash them after 1 maybe 2 wears, depending on what they are. lingerie and socks need to be washed like straight away. But jeans can be worn a couple of times if you don't roll around in the mud etc.

Changing your diet will help. Less processed foods. Also maybe less-strongly flavoured foods.
>Rajesh

Get an anti microbial soap. Use it once or twice a week. You don't want to go all clean freak, but keeping things in check is good.

Maybe talk to a medical professional instead of shitting up this fine fine welsh hula hoop weaving message board.

Don't leave your clothes in the washing machine, dry them properly, make sure you're using enough detergent and fabric softener (don't overdo them tho).
>>
>>34947817
What is detergent and what is fabric softener?
I just use those things in plastic bags that dissolve in water.

>What is detergent and what is fabric softener?

You're using detergent, that's the important shit. Fabric softener isn't necessary, but it makes your clothes softer and smelling nice.

If the problem persists it's possible that it's simply your washing machine that is fucking dirty. In that case you can get a cleaning liquid for washing machines.

I used the powder that's on TV, didn't help.
Why is this shit so hard?
>>
>>34947914
Ever tried leaving them in a more sunny place? keeping them dry
>>
>>34947942
No place to hang them outside, this is bongland.
I dry them in a closet thing that has a boiler inside so it's warm and shit.
>>
>>34947964
Is it warm and damp inside this boiler thing?
>>
Hey OP, sounds like your washing machine is filthy
Sometimes there's just a buildup of gunk from over the years. To clean a washing machine you need baking soda and white vinegar. NO DETERGENT OR LAUNDRY.

If I remember right, you need to fill the washer with the highest level of water and the hottest water setting. Get a quart of bleach and mix it in, letting it agitate for a minute, then leave it for an hour. After an hour, let it finish.

Then do the exact same thing, except with white vinegar instead of bleach. That should clean your washer.

Also sounds like your place of living might be dirty.

If you don't already invest in a vacuum. Walmart has some decent ones for like $50 or so. Also take out garbage regularly, clean dishes immediately, and let your house air out if necessary (unless it's super cold out, then just leave the fan on).
>>
>>34947964
Is it dry, though? mold only grows with humidity
>>
>>34947999
Wet clothes numbnuts
>>
>>34947978
Not very damp but warm.
>>
>>34948025
Probably something that's causing the smell. Enclosed space without high heat is a recipe for mildew.
>>
>>34947964

Y-you realise that warm and damp places with little light is what mold loves, right senpai?
>>
>>34948040
N-no.
Where do I dry them? Without the boiler thing there's nothing.
>>
>>34948057
How do you have a washer and not a dryer? I'd recommend picking one up.

You can always dry by just using a makeshift clothesline in your house. Enclosed space with warm temperatures probably why your clothes smell so bad, that's mildew.
>>
>>34948057
Clothes need fresh air to dry, otherwise they will get stinky and mouldy. If you can't hang them outside, hang them inside and open a window. It will take longer, but they won't be mouldy.

Since I shave my body I smell a lot less after sweating.

My armpit hair contained the smell even after a good shower, so I shaved it.
