There's this video of this (Samoan?) guy who lost like three hundred pounds by lifting heavy. He didn't get the skin surgery and it's fucking bizarre to see his muscles working under this curtain of skin. But I have respect for him.
I yo-yo a lot, but the string has been getting shorter and shorter on it. I used to fluctuate 20-30lbs (get down to a manageable weight, then fuck it up); then I moved it closer to 10-15lbs. Now I'm at a solid 5lbs range and more focused on building muscle and eating well.
