yes. it relies on the supercompensation principle, but you'll feel pretty beat down and think you arent making progress.

after you've trained multiple days in a row, you need to rest, and that's when the magic happens. this type of training isnt done much outside of elite sportsmen b/c it is mentally draining, but it does work.

I've been doing just all chest workouts 5 times a week and resting on weekends. I'm trying to escape t-rex mode... I've been doing this for about 10 weeks now and I'm never really physically tired. I've gone from 160lbs to 190lbs. I'm also doing 3x10 on rows, OHP, dips, pull ups and crunches everyday...

Every other day is pretty much optimal imo. More than that is probably counterproductive and could lead to injuries
