Ok, being a UKFag I have no idea wtf a planet fitness is, but it looks like a fucking load of bullshit. Is this the case?
>>

some are 24h in florida. very clean, have smiths, benches, and squat racks and are 10$ a month no contract. it depends on the owner i guess

The more I see about this gym the more I want to go to one just to see if this shit is real. I wish some fucktard would come up to me at a gym where I pay to use the equipment and tell me I can not do that shit. Unless I signed a form with that shit in writing I could care less about their signs.
>>
>>34859361
Its their property so they will just terminate your contract and throw you out. Possibly also get a somekind of extra fee for terminating

It's not. It's only the tryhard gems up north that do this shit. All the ones down south are mostly franchise and 90% of them are perfectly fine.

I was going to a PF in my town before the guy that owned it sold it off to a chick and she literally got rid of all the benches and replaced them all with those guillotine death traps. I tried doing them one time, and holy shit it was like I my whole body started screaming "SNAP CITY SNAP CITY SNAP CITY!"

How the fuck people think those are safer than a normal bar and bench I will never fucking know.

Ah ok then, so not all are bad, it's up to how much of a douche the manager is? It kinda sounds like my gym, one of the more popular chains in the uk is called pure gym, the one near my house has a billion fucking treadmills for the office types who work nearby, but the free weight and even machine selection is pretty good and usually they leave it alone. Dirt cheap too, like £15 a month pay as you go because they don't have all the bullshit you don't need like pools or saunas

Is Planet Fitness the Fox News of gyms? They want to ban traditional weight training and healthy eating i.e. pizza monday. Just like ultra conservatives wanting to ban science.
