I dont even know what to buy so i didnt buy anything yet i live like a bum. in live in downtown of the city, but in the old place, full of local comerce and stuff, and narrow streets. but im feeling the inspo here.
I'm looking through these pictures and all I can think of is if you cold skate in those rooms and if it would damage the floor wtf. I haven't skated in months

Rip up the carpet and put in laminate wood.
After that, model the area around the window as a focal point or a sitting area. Do as much as you can to utilize that window to make the space seem expansive.

Well, I'm renting so I can't rip up the carpet. I'd prefer hardwood floors but the location/amenities/price was pretty good. The building is upgrading most of the rooms with hardwood floors so we'll probably get them eventually.

I was going to say, ask your landlord. I'm pretty sure they would be all in on that as it only raises the value of the unit.
