Is that from Visvim?
It wasn't as long as I thought it would be. It just ended at the waist.

Yeah, I went a saw an exhibition here in Brisbane called Future Beauty all about Japanese fashion. There was a kimono that I think was by Yohji that was by far my favourite piece there. Searching for it now, anyone know what I'm talking about?
Been trying some kimono stuff lately.
how'd I do?
>>9792648
Please don't.

Aren't these just cardigans with no fastenings?
>>9794287
cardigans are usually knit and have an alternate collar

this is dope as f
>>9795323
This is my grail ;_:
>>9795332
why not make one? this is essentially a deconstructed cardigan with a flat shawl collar made out of shirting broadcloth. not the most technical sewing project--beginner really.
you could easily make this from less than $50 of material and a dozen hours. way better than paying 800 dollars because it says visvim
>>9795390
then make a few more and sell them to us
>>9791686
I think what you're looking for is noragi
Those are the japanese style jackets, but they have a less traditional formalwear association and more of a workwear kinda thing going down
>>9795583
Know where I can cop one that isn't Visvim or Naked and Famous?
>>9795583
they're so fucking pricey
>>9795643
Thanks mate, I'll check it out. I've always been a little cautious of Etsy though
>>9795651
I've used it a lot, it's legit, most sellers have a ton of feedback, plus you can use paypal I'm pretty sure.
this is a good one

but if he is ugly then it looks autistic
bump, thinking of sewing one myself
>>9796274
I think the tie thing ruins it, most people here probably want a noragi
try the kimono kid

w2c kimono sewing pattern
>>9795390
I have minimal sewing/stitching experience, if you have a guide or some instructions I might try
Any noragi that isn't going to financially cripple me for a year?

Imo the only visvims sort of worth getting/drooling over are the boro ones, patchwork is dope. There are tonnes of labels that try to do kimonos and/or noragis. Also proper kimonos cost money, its almost the equivalent of a suit in some circles. Construction wise for a basic mono one is as you say tho.
>>9796170
Looks like some las vegas gangster or something. Too busy/fluoro for my taste
>>9797208
The site is the pure definition of neck beard fashion but i'll admit i love how they picked their domain name, regardless ironically or on purpose. Conceptually good, poor execution. A onesie suit, really?
>>9797196
Epaulet makes a version too

Tie thing reminds me of a hanten, which are comfy/10
