Fuckin' Iron Rangers.
Post a better boot. I dare you.
>>9773484
boat*
That's a big boot.
>>9773484
Fine boot, but an extremely predictable choice.
>>9773504
For you.
>>9773504
To a small-footed manlet, I can see that being an issue.
>>9773513
Quality and style in a professional setting, with actual shops to go and be properly sized, I can live with predictability.
Unpredictable nets you pic-related. And foodstamps.
Still nothing, huh?
Thought so.
>>9773484
I can name a lot of boots better than Iron Rangers.
>>9773817
And I can flap my arms and fly to the moon.
Put up or shut up.
>>9773830
Don't make me post more boots.
>>9773837
Was kind of the point of the thread.
But pictures may as well be doodles if you're not going to name their manufacturers and model names.
Unless you're literally just posting a folder of show pictures you saved because you like them, and have no concept of their actual quality.
viberg service boots
>>9773861
I don't have first-hand experience with the boots I'm posting but I can tell you the general consensus is Iron Rangers are not that great in terms of quality. Better than Chippewa and other popular brands, but still far from the greatest.
>>9773887
Ugh, Vibergs are so sexy it makes me sad that I can't justify purchasing a pair.
Also, Wolverine 1000 Mile boots are pretty nice.
>>9773903
>Also, Wolverine 1000 Mile boots are pretty nice.
If you're not a size 13.
>>9773917
:^)
>>9773887
That toebox is sexy.
What's with the distressed leather? Is that natural or a style?
>>9773943
Ya know, scratching my balls would be so much easier when my hands are full...
that feel when you work in a factory and you have to wear steel toe....
>>9773960
Are you sad that you have to dress like a man for your big-boy job?
>>9773978
define dressing "like a man"
>>9773978
Yah
Sole sucks ASS and has that bulbous toebox. Leather quality is solid though.
Copped some OSB trench boots. I prefer the lower profile.
>>9773484
Autistic boot for dadcore faggots
Cheaply made and overpriced - the perfect scam for trendhopping queers
>>9774042
So heritage Geobaskets?
>>9774085
Basically except Red Wings are 3 parts gay, 1 part autistic and Geobaskets are 3 parts autistic and 1 part gay
>>9774042
what's a better boot
osb x bonobos trench boot
Alden indie
>>9773903
Wolverine master race
>>9773917
you're supposed to size down, so are you a 14?
>>9773484
Fallschirmjager boots brah
Question here: will my Rangers be suitable for hiking? What would you fine anons suggest instead? Figuring the lack of traction on Iron Rangers might make for some difficulty, but I suppose it would depend on the terrain.
>>9774171
Rangers are suitable for special ed class
>>9773484
I really wanted iron rangers back in the day, until i saw the toe box in person
>>9774179
Oh shit nigga you got me good!
>>9774191
I only got you if you own Iron Rangers, cuck.
Whites or Nicks are definitely better than RWs.
>>9774204
Well then 10/10 nig!
>>9774221
Your girlfriend fuck other men
>>9774232
> Implying I have a girlfriend
Got ya there. Also if you'd have been able to read my first post you'd have known that I own a pair.
>>9773887
can someone recommend a similar boot style to this? only one that doesn't cost both my arms and legs.. i particuarly love the sleekness to these kind of boots, specifically the toe box. i would also like a smaller to no heel. please I've been looking for ages but haven't found shitt
>>9773837
ID on these?
>>9774544
me again
are these decent?
>>9774554
FUCK NO
>>9774544
Chippewa has service boots too. Decent leather but doesn't age as nice. Can be had for under $200 on sale.
>>9774570
im not really a fan of those heels
i considering getting these actually. how do i size clarks? i wear dr martens in 9s and a 9.5-10 in most other formats. do i change sizes or are they true?
>>9773484
my black guy :-)
>>9773917
probably wanna switch up them pants there bozo. good shoes, shit fit.
>>9774238
Your ex is fucking other guys then
>>9774596
> Implying I have an ex
Wait, that would make sense though....
>>9774171
not at all. not even close. its great for factories w/ oily floors (seriously) or urban environs in general. youre not even in the right galaxy for hiking.
>>9774578
What about the Desert Mali?
>>9774596
thats usually what ex's do, genius.
>>9774601
Yeah I've asked /fit/ and /out/ and have gotten a few answers.
>>9774610
really dude, if youre looking for a hiking boot get function over form ALL day. i have IRs and they are the shit if youre not 15 but hiking is not one of their strong points.
>>9774603
woah those are pretty sweet!
desert boots or malis....
>>9774618
I like my IRs just don't want to look like an autist if I have to get caught in public wearing hiking boots.
>>9773837
w2c?
>>9774625
yeah I'm in the same boat, i just bring a separate pair when I'm going up mountains. had any luck or thoughts on any other boots?
>>9774634
Yeah here's a list of boots I'm going to look into (in somewhat of an order of suggestions):
Vasque St. Elias GTX
Merrell
Salomon 4D 2 GTX
Goretex Danner Combat Hiker
Oakley Assaults
Asolo Fan 95
And one anon even suggested Redwings 414s.
a lot of the so called good hiking boots nowadays are garbage made in chine with a vibram sole thrown on them. if you want a top of the line hiking boo id suggest trying to find some made in italy boots from zamberlan or old vasque sundowners, even old llbean boots made in italy are pretty nice.
danner also makes a pretty nice service type style boot called the forest heights. made in usa. I have these ones in cherry leather, look really nice after a few months
>>9774544
Chevalier CXL
wedge sole iron ranger master race
>>9774947
sick. how much did it cost to get them resoled with the wedge sole? did you take them to red wing to do it?
>>9773484
take ur oversized cowboy boots back to >>>/mfa/
>>9774947
Actually pretty dope.
