My parents did this and it looks like they were dressed for today, luckily they did because they were teens in the 80's and everything from that era is hideous.

I think about this all the time, the 60s were objectively amazing, possibly the best, for fashion. That woman's fit would look super up to date and fashionable in the present. The staying power of that time period is incredible

I'd also add that this period was the greatest for music. Every single country in the world experienced a golden age for music in the late 50s and 60s.
Everywhere from Europe to Brazil to the middle east, they were dressing well and making great art.
