I've just started to become interested in fashion (I'm 21) and absolutely love the palewave aesthetic. Was wondering if the best fit for jeans in palewave is slim? Because the palewave fits I've seen generally have this fit of jeans, and the ones with tighter fitting jeans don't seem to work too well imo. Are skinny jeans out in general or is this mainly a pale thing? I usually only wear black skinnies anyway, all my other jeans (bleach/blue/grey) are just slims.

I think somewhat slim fitting and tapered jeans work best with palewave. Skinny jeans just don't really work imo.

I think it's the element of constriction you get with skinnies, while they're not uncomfortable they don't give off much of a relaxed/free vibe as slims do.

I'm glad that palewave caught on. I moved back to the tropics and palewave is perfect for this hot and humid weather. Unfortunately most of my wardrobe is black, navy and grays from when I was living up north. Some questions I have:
1. all my footwear and belts are black including my sport sandals. Can still pull off a pale look?
2.Regarding above, anyone know any cheaper alternatives for New Balances (like the ones on pic) or at least any cheap NBs I can cop. I need some versatile grey runners but I'm that much of a poorfag.
3.Anyone know any mall or outlet stores that sells affordable palewave fits. So far I haven't found any H&Ms or Uniqlos nearby.
4.Anyone can a good parka-style windbreaker that's light enough for tropical rains. Most decent windbreakers I found look like they might make me sweat. Kinda like the one pic related but with I want one with a zip-front.

Buy small. I have a similar collection of clothes where I was buying everything the wrong size. I've recently realised I'm a small/extra small and have been getting an entirely new wardrobe in the right size. Seriously when you buy your clothes take a good look and feel at how ever size fits you, don't just assume one size for yourself and buy it.
Oh and that jacket is uuugly. It doesn't go with the jeans, they're colours you'd see more in interior design rather than on a person.

Tried these H&M Linen trousers in store today, actually pretty good. Had to size up a bit though.
They're a totally straight fit so you might want to get the tapered if you're not into that but at £19.90 they'll still be hecka cheap even with tailoring cost on top.
