I bike a lot and it's worn holes in my 2 favourite pairs of black denim (I'm not a smart man) and so I figured it's finally time to just drop $100 and grab a pair of these off ebay. Probably good for some entry level techwear bottoms too since I live in rainy-ass Vancouver half the time

It's the aesthetic, I think. They're probably pretty high quality garments, but it's the designs that people seem to like. Harkens back to Soviet propaganda, industry, and advertising.
His styling of the products is very consciously brash youth. Some might draw comparisons between Gosha and Raf's earlier stuff. Obviously Gosha isn't anywhere near Raf, but the use of short messages and strong type, the simple geometric logos are familiar.
Some Russians also harbor a weird nostalgia for Soviet life. People remember this hard working machine of a country even though it was largely a facade for poverty. Gosha's stuff has the retro feel of '80's USSR, which now has cachet among young people who never went through that.
It's not my style, but I definitely see what he's after.
