/fa/ i need your help

all the time on here, i see threads about skinny style, and how skinniness is so desirable, but i am 6'2 and 125 and all my clothes look like shit on me. most of what i wear is like apc and acne. Very minimal and classic.

Perhaps these brands are made for people with a stockier more even, proportionate body, because i always look like utter shit in my fits.

So what am i supposed to wear? Skinny ppl or people who just know a lot, give me advice.. Why do my fits look like shit, what should skinny people wear? What should I cop?

pic related isnt me

6'3 130 LB skinny lanklet reporting in.

I recommend tailoring them. DO NOT HEMM.

Skinny shirts/sweaters are easy to find, but obviously jeans and pants are harder to find.

I recommend:
>River Island
>Asos
>Cheap Monday (Tailor)
>Idk what else
These stores are really basic and inexpensive (some) so dont worry about wasting alot of money.
Every item you see online either super skinny or skinny, get.
>>
Apc or acne which of these two are you supposed to avoid because they relocated to Vietnam and are way overpriced for quality

Protip: girls who like skinny guys LIKE SKINNY GUYS.

Don't try to conceal your body shape. Wear good fitting clothes with no extra fabric, but for the love of God, do not make them skin tight. Guys who try to hide their body usually make it worse. Slimmer clothes make skinny guys look like they are filling out their clothes more, and it therefore looks less awkward.

Pants:
The Levi's 511 is pretty much perfect for skinny guys. They aren't skinny jeans, they are slim jeans, meaning they have no extra fabric. They also make chinos in the same cut. Check out Uniqlo slim fit stuff too. Make sure they are not puddling at your feet. A slight break on your shoe is good. Stacking is a no-go.

As for shirts, a proper fitting T-shirt, dress shirt, sweater, etc. will have the shoulder seam at pic related. This means it will have enough fabric around you to give you breathing room, but it won't be draping around you like a gangbanger. It will make you look skinnier if the seam is any closer to your neck, or farther down your arm. A t-shirt should never fall below your crotch, or expose your belt.

"Wut" what ? He's telling you to avoid APC or Acne because you will get ripped off. The quality is ass and they're producing in H&M / ZARA tier countries.
>>
>>9634466
>Don't try to conceal your shape
>Levis 511

OP here, I had some 511s a while back and they were baggy as fuck. I think you'er underestimating how fucking small i am lmao. I'll probably just save up for some YSL jeans. Thanks for the advice tho.

Oh , it was phrased very poorly. But i didn't know that, I guess i'll stay away from them? Any alternatives?

Honestly at this stage i bet even plain black H&M slim jeans are a better purchase than anything Acne whatsoever.

I have pretty much the same body and fugg do I hate trying to gain weight, it's really just a matter of eating a shit ton of food but I hate feeling so "full" after a big meal.

I've tried weigh gaining shakes but it's the same shit, after I drink one I don't feel hungry for the rest of the day.
>>
>>9634609

Yes. But even then there's no point in trying to run the skinny game if you're under 6'1 so don't waste your time.

>>9634624

Then eat more but not necessarily at the same time. Spread during the day. Add one, or two more meals during the day.

ye I don't really spread my meals very well, I'm so fucking lazy though, having to prepare 5 meals a day and having to quickly eat during a break between two classes is ehhh, hard?

>>9634639
no I'm talking about fat, not much though, 6' 3 140 lbs doesn't look good in my opinion
also you need fat to convert to muscle tissue, right?

How do you guys not feel like shit when you look at your naked body and it looks like that of a prepubescent child?

ok well you need to fucking STOP. The ONLY healthy weight is muscle. Hit a gym, but for the love of god do not try to gain fat. That's the opposite of anorexia and just as dangerous.
>>
>>9634660
No - very common misconception, fat DOES NOT convert to muscle

You can lose fat and gain muscle at the same time, however they are two separate processes

Not skin tight, but acne Thins fit me best right now. I'd imagine slp skinny jeans would be ideal..

If you're skinny, flaunt that shit. It'll attract women who can appreciate a model-esque type body on a man. I'm 5'11, 126 lbs and wear skinny/super skinny jeans with small/medium shirts/t-shirts and usually medium jumpers.

I tried Acne Thins and they fit almost exactly the same as my SLP 15.5s. SLPs have a bit higher of a rise (at least my SS14 pair) but that's really it tbh.

Honestly considering just copping Acnes over another pair of SLP, mostly because they're $300 less and are overdyed black instead of regular.

For me slp has better construction than the thins. I like the way the jeans started to mold to my legs. the ridgedness of the material is also nice. Also robably just personal preference but that chain on the back inside of the pants is too cool

Guy in the OP is 160lbs and 6'4 if I remember correctly. He's got pretty broad shoulders though so he's got the ideal tapered 'V' shaped body.
>>
>>9632304
also interested
>>
How much do you guys size down on jeans?
>>
>>9638816

The main problem when you're skinny is that you tend to have rolled / rounded shoulders, thanks to the lack of muscles pull, to open that scapulae like it should. And i talk from experience.

I would be interested to see him from profile. In a relaxed stance, and not pulling and flexing.

are there any online shops that sell acne thins and do free returns in the US? i know ssense has them but they only have the used cash.
also looking for somewhere with returns that has slp in size 27 other than ssense since theyre out of stock right now. i tried on a size 28 recently but they were still a little too baggy at the hips
