No it isn't. The quality of the shirts has decreased because he changed production to Portugal but the majority of pieces are still made in New York and they're pretty high quality. Ervell is overpriced, but not because it's 'Acne-tier.'
Acne quality isn't particularly poor on most pieces anyway, it just isn't worth the ridiculous pricing. Ervell pricing is around the same for much higher quality. I wouldn't buy most Ervell at full price because it's guaranteed to fall, but if I had to choose between the two I know which one I'd cop. The reason people are so focused on Ervell's pricing is mostly because he's been increasing it so much from the point he started at.
