Im only an apprentice but I get £3.85 an hour, the company I'm at is really nice though so I can't complain..
Welding down is easier than left/right but that's all I know right now

One of my teacher's said it's okay to get a lower wage when you're starting out, it's only after a couple years of experience is when you make the big bucks. It's cool to know there are /fa/ welders.

x-shaped scar on nose
fell up the stairs once I reached the top and smashed my face on a picture frame, the glass cut my nose open
I have three scars on my face, two on the backside of my head, multiple scars on knees, on on the underside of my toe and one on my left calf. Two of my scars have been stitched (forehead 4 and calf 7).

I was cleaning this window thingy at my place, think of it like a bar with some glass to shield customers from splashing and squirting fluids and shit, and I was reaching over from the outside (cause you can't do it from inside, tons of machinery), and my wrist got hooked on this chipped piece of glass and now I have this inch long scar that runs parallel to my wrist

I used to have this weird mole on my chest that was removed by a derm. He did a botch job in removing it. The end result is a large "H" shaped scar with a micro-mole on both sides.

Hey not that guy but I got plenty of exp. Pay is good if you're in an area where demand is high. Be careful with contractor jobs as they run out of work and you may lose your job. Stay with a company MINIMUM one year, anything less is not worth dick and looks terrible on your resume. Pay starts on average at anywhere from 11-15/hr, but you can easily work your way up to 22/hr. If you want a job, go talk to the fucking manager don't just turn in an application.
