Lately I've been obsessed with Rick's shoes and I really want to cop a pair. I don't really like the look of high top ramones, but the low tops look amazing IMO. I don't want Geos since everyone has a pair, but I do like the silhouette. Does anyone here own Island Dunks? They're a good middle ground and look great, pic related.

These Island Dunks are on Grailed, I'm just not sure about the color. I've seen them in person and they look really good, but since I hardly ever see people wearing shoes that aren't black or white I'm somewhat scared I won't be able to incorporate them into fits well.

I own Island Dunks (the first iteration, pictured here >>9485708). The angled silhouette makes them look kind of clunky, but they're still pretty versatile. Very clean and on point. I like to wear them dressed up and dressed down. Not as wearable as my hi-top Ramones although I love them regardless.

I've never worn them with laces. It kind of defeats the point, you know? But that's another thing - without the laces, the panels on the sides can "flare" out which makes them sort of lose that hard angular look. It's not really a big deal, just something I've noticed.
