I don't mean massive, just one size bigger than it should be.

I feel like military inspired outerwear should maintain their functionality and fit, or else the wearer doesn't latch on to the military look, they just look like artsy fartsy emulators.

<case in point

do you actually own a slim fit bomber?
can you show me one that looks good?

I agree with you. I really like the puffy sleeve look.

Pic related is not as puffy as the original bombers but I think it's got the perfect amount of puffiness.

I wouldn't even call that a bomber. All it really has in common with an MA-1 is the collar. At that point, it's just a jacket.

I agree completely.
My friend does have pic related from uniqlo though, and he wears it over a t shirt, the same way you'd wear a sweatshirt, and it looks great.

okay good to have a little validation.

I want a cotton bomber, this one in particular, but because it's made 'slim' and has no structure to it, it looks like a zip up slim fitting sweater to me, doesn't look 'like a bomber'

think sizing up will help or is the issue the material going to persist
and make me look like
I'm wearing

a poorly fitting bomber inspired zipup sweater

he's only had it for a few weeks but he wears it often enough that i'd say the quality is pretty good.

They look like shit if they're too tight. Length wise I wouldn't want them too long though or else you're tip toeing on hoodrat territory
