completely agree. i would never get geobaskets cause of the chunkiness, which in my opinion looks better on shorter/stockier people as well as more loose shaped pants. drkshdw ramones feel perfect for my height and build, and look really interesting without being completely over the top and eye catching like the black/white geos or the leather mainline ramones. plus i like the idea of them. i read ricks article about them a while back and even though he based it off the band which i dont like, his main idea was to embrace the classic/simplistic everyday american approach while making things interesting with a somewhat chunky and goofy appproach. i'm paraphrasing but thats what i took from it. plus with all the silliness regarding memechrome and rick its kinda hard for fast fashion places like zara/hm to copy a shoe thats based off a "classic" shoe, would just look silly especially cause the whole idea of the shoe is about refinement and attention to detail. anyways sorry for the rant im kinda drunk atm
