I'm trying to sew on a patch to a jacket. Is there some basic how to wiki/video out there that tells you how to do it? The few I looked at were blurry as fuck youtube monstrosities featuring girl scouts and Texas mothers.
I don't have a sewing machine so it'll be by hand. Also I was hoping to sew it as a single line of stitches as opposed to a zig-zag pattern, hopefully you get what I'm talking about. Thanks.

In my opinion, comfy shoes are shoes that you can put on easily and are also comfy to wear. I wouldn't consider Converses comfy because you have to tie them every time. I have NB 574s and they are great out and about/beater shoe. Pic related is what I have.

Honestly yes. CM is also good but more expensive. H&M could work for you too but the color won't stay and they'll stretch out unless you wash them. Gap is overpriced and fits are inconsistent with regular sizing but I think everything is 40% off rn so that's decent. Never pay full MRSP at the Gap. People used to suggest *shudder* Hot Topic during their 2 for 40 sale so maybe that's worth it?

Navy and black is not a traditional color combination at all. It's almost as hard to make look good as black and brown. Black doesn't go well with darker shades of colors. This is like one of the first things you learn about matching colors.
Black and navy is a very serious, formal color combo. Something like navy suit and black shoes for office work -- sure (though brown shoes will still look better). Or if you're an admiral or a police officer.
