I am 33 inch waist.. I bought some Levi 511's but they look nothing like pic related when I pinroll them. They seem to be the right size around the waist, but too baggy around the calves..

i bought like 5 pairs of Gustin demin and while the materials are kinda crap shoot, I have gotten jeans significantly nicer from them than my acne or apc jeans. you're probably going to want to look at the "Skinny" cuts in around 14oz, this seems closest to what you're looking for
feel free to try lightweight (more comfortable initially, also less hot) or heavyweight denim (tends to fade faster) if you like though

selvedge is how the outer seem on the legs is sewn, it has a self edge. Generally it means higher quality.
Raw means the jeans are unwashed so the indigo die is still completely intact. In time it fades to your bodies specifics.
Skinny jeans are just a fit. you can get skinny raw jeans, skinny selvege jeans and skinny raw selvege jeans, but you're best off going with non-raw (washed) and non-selvege skinny jeans. Raws are uncomfortable and tend to stretch out.

My advice is that you WILL most likely fuck up your first pair. Go out and buy a pair of gap raw or levis shrink-to-fit or even unbranded. Experiment with sizing and stretching for a while before you take a shot at that premium pair. It's not simply just waist size you have to worry about. There are rise length, proportion of the seat and thigh and all other shit that I can guarantee you will fuck up.
