columbia whirlibird is prob. the best value jacket out there. Not too /fa/(first generation ones looked okay if you were into the whole 'snowboarder' look. Current ones all look like generic crap though.)
Expect to pay around $140 on sale, $200 regular. Its a three season though, so you dont need to worry about layering unless its a really shitty day.
