In my opinion, duffel coats look goofy and should be worn that way. I like duffel coats with saturated colors and contrasting toggles. I don't like the duffel coat in your pic because it's too dark and trying to take itself seriously, which won't happen because the oversized toggles look ridiculous. Single-breasted wool coats are easier to wear.
