Last thread was pretty good.

Saw some newish Fall drops lately, specifically this:

http://www.uniqlo.com/us/product/men-light-comfort-soutien-collar-coat-131568.html#09|/men/featured/new-arrivals/outerwear/|

Anyone tried it yet? Looks kinda nice online but maybe bad IRL.

I swear Uniqlo put out exactly what I want, was about to cop one from Muji.
Also that looks fine OP.
>>
>>8841243
Yeah it looks nice. I'll have to try it at the store.
>>
Idk the jacket looks ok.

Any word on if their stretch denim looks better than their skinny jeans?

Also, do they restock on their flannels?
>>
>>8841262
>Also, do they restock on their flannels?
Online or at the store? Flannels are one of their most popular items so I'd think they'd restock them. But then again their online store is notorious for being really bad at having stock.
>>
>>8841271
>Online or at the store?

Online, looking to cop an olive one but most of their stuff is only available in xxl
>>
need the corduroy shirts to restock
>>
>>8841278

Yeah, online store sucks. You gotta get lucky or gain 200lbs to get nice stuff sometimes. Glad I don't have to deal with it.

I heard good things about their hoodies. How do the lightweight hoodies compare to the regular ones... do they fit differently? The regular ones already fit pretty slim, do they not?

Thinking of copping this flannel. Their flannel are light and good for the price and fit me pretty well, so I kinda wanna cop this (being my 3rd flannel from them) since I'm also gonna cop a Pure Blue Sweatshirt from them.
>>
>>8841473
I wanted to get a PB Sweat this weekend but they had no XS at the Soho store ;~;
>>
>>8841278
Just check back daily, since yeah they are bad at restocking online. But sometimes they pop up. I copped a wine before they sold out, I love it. I need to lift, since I look a little grunge-core in it because I'm skinny but it is a great fit.

>>8841296
Have you ever bought one? Are they any good? I've been wanting to get into wearing cord lately since it looks comfy but Uniqlo isn't my first choice for most warm things.
>>8841318
You are probably good at a medium. If not, 8 bucks for a return and it ain't really a bad deal. Their sizing charts are USUALLY pretty tts.
>>8841467
Probably just lighter. I'd be more concerned about it being almost like a fleece material over anything, since a lot of their other stuff is thin. I'm sure sizing is relatively the same
>>
>>8841482
Yeah, I am gonna cop a small online. Since you saw them in store, do you think they are worth the extra 10 bucks over a regular sweatshirt from Uniqlo? They look a tad thicker and nicer constructed.
>>
>>8841486
They felt a lot nicer than their normal sweatshirts.
>>
>>8841505

I want to cop some sweatpants but I'm not feeling whatever is going on with the thighs on the ribbed sweats. And the lack of ribbing doesn't do it for me on the other ones.

Never got a reply in the last thread, but what do I need to know about the raw slim straights?

I got a pair of regular denim, and they are nice, but a little wide around the leg opening. The thighs are about perfect.

Materials definitely don't suggest this is for warmth/winter:

Body; shell: 86% polyester, 14% nylon/ lining: 100% polyester/ liner; shell: 100% polyester/ filling: 100% polyester/ lining: 100% polyester

J Crew is fine. Underrated on this site because all the "anti-dadcore" attitude. They're a bit overpriced though, but their shirts are nice
>>
>>8846390
i like to try thing on before i buy them. So many different brands cut things slightly differently.
>>
>>8846387
It honestly depends.

My rule of thumb is; the cheeper it is, the larger it *usually* runs.

e.g.
5 bux shirts, and some long sleeve shirts, tend to fit better a size down. But they're boxy as hell anyways.
Every other shirt over $10, like the supima or OBD, are pretty true to size.
I got my mountain parka a size down, medium was a little too lose for my taste, and I can still wear 2-3 layers and it's not tight at all.
Other jackets are usually fine. No clue about their sweaters, you should honestly just try on jackets and sweaters because they're either to big or fits fine.

I'm 5'10" as well, as long as you're not fat you should be okay with medium everything.
>>
>>8846500
Exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks anon.

I'm 150 lb i'll try a medium and see what happens.

So my mom emailed me from Japan
"Son I will buy you flannel shirt as long as you wash your jeans, I saw on TV that if you do not wash your jeans it will beget harmful bacteria and lead to structural damage as well as unsanitary"

What the fuck am I supposed to do
I never wash my skinny jeans but theyre fresh as fuck because i keep it in the freezer
>>
>>8847607

Some fit pics from sufu.

The post:

"Here fit pics. These are L, Im 6ft 85ish kg atm. jean size is 32. Its hard to see the details so I bumped exposure and contrast a bit which makes them look washed out but they are black.

I agree with homi, Not all that special but good for $40. if you were looking for some sweats anyway may as well get the fashiony ones."

They fit pretty good. I just got my second one.
>>
I'm interested in their heattech pieces, e.g. tights and longsleeve shirts.
Does anybody have experience with them?
>>
>>8845556
Oh, great! Thanks for the actual correct info anon!
I hope they have it in store as well, is relatively easy for me to get to the oxford street one if they only do it there.

Man you guys weren't exaggerating when you said the website sells out fast, though it's only the navy that's completely out. Should I cop a different color instead or just wait? I have a feeling navy duffle's going to be the next olive parka for basic bitches but I've been dying to get one in my size.
>>
>>8852356
they always restock their main items like that
just give it a day or two
>>
>>8852356
i don't know, i think you'd be good with the duffle. I think the basic bitch trend is going to flannels from parkas.

Is the Mountain Parka good for winter if I wear it with layers? From reviews, it seems pretty light. I can't even see the weave from the online images.
>>
>>8852486

Only for mild winters.
>>
>>8852515
Midwest winter. About 30-35F. You have it? How is it?

idk lol
>>

estimated proxy costs and total would be about 100
buying from US would be around 130
>>
are the dry packaged tees good enough to be worn by themselves?
>>
>>8849032

1 belt
1 pants
1 coat
1 heattech shirt
1 flannel
maybe 6-8 undies
4 pairs of socks

prob going to grab a long johns next time I need to go somewhere cold (ie when I'm not in aus), another heattech shirt, more socks and more shirts and airism shit (prob gonna impulse on other shit once proper sydney store opens)

Any news on when this is happening?
>>

I overheard staff answering someone asking that and they said the pitt st one will open October sometime?

and according to http://www.propertyobserver.com.au/finding/commercial-investment/retail/35426-zara-gap-h-m-and-uniqlo-announced-for-macquarie-centre-ryde.html

the macquarie centre one will open oct 16 (although that one will be more of a trek though)
>>
>>8852294
err it's an 'ok' jacket but you'll probably have problems layering with that jacket seeing how fucking hot that shit is and ends up feeling all clammy inside if you start sweating

With Uniqlo, you have to go the store. Online store is poorly stocked.
>>
>>8854202
not really sure, don't plan to incorporate it into daily wear, more like a loungewear - lazy day - kind of fits
>>
Ordered the long hoodie, sweater and cargo sweats all in black. Gonna mix them with some white button downs and tees for dat contrast.
>>
>>8852531
I got it, and it's basically a windbreaker.
So unless you have some heavy-duty thermals to layer with, I really wouldn't recommend for any winters under say 50F.

Yeah. I'm going to wear all black sweats so I can let my inner turmoil out while also being a comfy nihilist teen. Nah but really, I'm probably going to wear one piece at a time with a contrasting lighter piece of clothing like I originally said.

Also the long hoodie is sold out in XL, average sized Americans everywhere are finally getting the oversized goth hoodies that they always wanted.
