How can I get that ASAP Rocky / Basquiat look when I'm white with black hair? You know like dressing well but with a trashy long hairstyle, the closest thing that comes to is a man bun without beard but I think it's overused so it loses the entire purpose of the look
Avan Jogia kinda pulls that look off but he's browner than me and I feel that while he looks good he kinda has a weird mexican pedo uncle vibe mostly because of his moustache

If those are too trashy you might have better luck looking into Asian hairstyles particularly Japanese hairstyles.
Rockys hair is honestly just braids tied into a ponytail though so there's not much else you could do aside from tease it or tie it up.

check out cyberfunk's hair (https://www.instagram.com/cyber.funk/), it has a pretty artsy, messy look. you can just shave the sides and do nothing to the top and eventually it will become a messy mop of hair on your head.
