I personally find that unnatural colored hair raises a girl's attractiveness for me - someone I wouldn't try hitting on before can suddenly become very appealing with just a hair dye. I found for example Zoe Quinn really hot when she died her hair lilac while before I was confused why anyone would even bother sleeping with her since she looks pretty ugly and crazy
Generally doing something with your looks to avoid male attention is pretty pointless since you always find men (and dykes too) attracted to something, tons of people love fatties for example, or weirder things like amputees - I think a better bet would be to look as average as possible so you don't have anything that stands out enough to get fetishized - or better yet just look how you want to without trying to change other people's perceptions of you with how you dress unless you're going for a job interview or something like that
