I thought about getting these patches for the left and right shoulder of the bomber:

http://wirsinddietoten.bigcartel.com/product/neon-skull-patch

http://wirsinddietoten.bigcartel.com/product/no-love-no-hope-patch-and-pin

or shouold I go with something less edgy like:

http://expeditioncollectibles.com/shop/mt-fuji-patch/

what do you guys think? other suggestions?
My brother knows the guy who runs the "Wir sind die Toten" store, so I wouldnt have to pay shipping

i like your look. the bomber would probably look dope with patched arms.

a brief tip regarding patch choice: don't buy patches with text that doesn't resound with you personally, or you'll look like a tryhard douchenozzle. similarly, don't buy a patch that depicts something you have no personal connection with. the whole point of this shit is to PERSONALIZE your clothing (w/ aesthetically pleasing pieces of course-- this is fa)

e.g. if you are able to explain why there is 'no love/hope in modern life' in modern life without sounding like a douche fucking go for it pal, that's a hell of a challenge.

that being said, the best patch-choice for your bomber (that you linked to) is the Mt Fuji one imo. your ensemble - while dope - could probably benefit from a tiny bit of color (read:red) on the arm of the jacket, which that patch would provide. (but if you've never been to Mt fuji & don't realy have a special connection with it, don't be a fucking dbag)
>>
>>11472896
what does fa think of my opinion ( ^ ) on this tho? am i taking too boyscouty/punk elitist of an approach, or is my commentary on this one on point?

also, can we get some patch inspo going in here?
>>
>>11472896

i agree. getting edgy shit you only half subscribe too and mountain/exploration patches from places you've never been is lame (barring like space shit cause obviously)

>>11472885
>>11473013
Yeah I guess I will go with the Fuji patch since I already was there. Thanks for the compliment and advice. Probably gonna get the neon skull patch too, since I really like the design and it doesnt carry a too specific message. I will find an opportunity to use it.

Thanks. I'll probably put it on a denim jacket. Maybe with the album cover in the opposite sleeve. Might be too much avalanches dick riding though.

>>11486785
Nice.

I was thinking of putting all the patches, sort of in like a square-ish shape on the back of my denim jacket, but I don't know if it'll be too much.

I guess I'll find out in a few hours when my order arrives.
>>
>>11486789
It might be hard to make a square with five patches. I also think that the three colorful ones mesh really well together, but might not do well with the other two. You could put the other two together on a different piece maybe.

Just some thoughts. You'll be a better judge of it when you see them in person than I am now.

>>11486809

however, also just basic t-shirt and long-sleeve shirts; it's not too hard, you just got to be sure of your measurements and cuts and not sweat your mistakes too much

Sorry breh, just making some japes.
Depends what you're sewing it onto, it'll differ a bit by material.
>>
>>11490157
Let's say sewing into flannel or a jean jacket
>>
>>11490177
Can you do basic sewing? It's not really a complicated technique or anything. Some patches are pretty thick so you need a decent needle, but its quite basic otherwise. I like to pin them in place before sewing and try the jacket on to check what it looks like worn rather than flat on the table.
>>
>>11472896
>>11472925
>>11473061
I actually do not agree. You do not have to resonate or have a personal connection with it the patch to be able to wear it.
People wear flags all the time on their clothes, a lot of the flags are even from other countries where they have never been.
It's not about personal connection or have been to the place, it can just look good and that's it.

Though I'm talking from a perspective from having a lot of patches on a jacket.
Just one patch is more like a serious statement which can be awkward looking if it's not the right one.
A lot of patches is more about striving for that specific look.
