OP these aren't meant to last long. In Italy people wear them with socks until they start falling apart, and then they just wear them as slip-ons to the beach or whatever. They're 40€ anyways

no socks creates odour and stickiness (the latter for me, anyway). imo no show socks are kinda lame. i prefer just regular white socks, but that's just me i guess
