whats the deal with shoelace belts?
use to be this tacky skater fashion thing, and I hope to god it has moved on lol.
I dont skate as much anymore but knowing the culture... nah.
>>11460274
nah it started off with the bmx scene, then moved onto skate, and now you see dickheads like >>11460268 that tie the shit like he's gonna be parachuting with it or some shit
supposedly when skaters and bmxers did it it was so that when they fell they wouldn't get hurt buy belt buckles, either that or they couldn't afford belts
>>11460295
It's becuase skating is becoming trendy again so skate fashion is as well by association
I use a hoodie dangly rope thing to hold my boxers up.
Its great, I feel like a pirate

I'm the dude who posted this in the WAYWT
I honestly couldn't find where I put my belt and decided to try something new. Sorry for looking tryhard :)

What
I like having a string around my waist. It makes me feel comfortable. I don't know why and I don't think its weird.
>>11460778
why did you remove the phone case just to show off a generic ass iPhone beta-fuccboi?
>>11460783
I'm not the guy who you replied to but what the fuck? People on this board especially either a)don't know how to properly respond to the correct post or b)don't make any fucking sense
>>11460783
My case broke at the bottom corner, I'm not showing off anything. Nice try though
>>11460268

>>11460790

>>11460793

>>11460801
...what? That doesn't make sense at all
stop trying to troll and just take it easy :)
My school used to make all the kids that sagged their pants tie them up like that. Forced them to tuck in their shirt too so they looked extra ridiculous. It was hard not to laugh at them.
>>11460268
it was because skating or bmxing with a belt could become uncomfortable.
a lot of people grew up though and started wearing belts again.
>>11460295
>>11460328
nah, it started in skating so you have an extra shoelace on you at all times when the one on your dominant foot eventually rips
>>11460268
Friendly reminder that this is what skaters considered fashionable 10 years ago.
